Visit this incredible natural wonder, just 20 minutes from Garden City. Water from a nearby brook flows into the cave, forming ice that lasts even through the hottest summers. The cave becomes accessible when the water dries up around mid-July, with two entrances leading into its chilly depths. Despite the summer heat, the cave remains cold year-round, with ice persisting inside.

Tour the Paris Tabernacle

This historic place of worship is a renowned pioneer landmark of the West, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1889, the Romanesque-style Mormon tabernacle was crafted from red sandstone, hauled by wagon or sled from a quarry 18 miles away. Visitors can enjoy a free self-guided tour to admire its intricate wood ceilings and stone carvings, while a small museum showcases heirlooms and artwork from early settlers. Guided tours are also available for a deeper look into its rich history.

There is a non-profit group that does regular upkeep of the cross country trails. They’re doing the hard work, so you might as well enjoy the nicely groomed trails!
